It was registered as a World Natural Heritage site in July 2021.

The purpose of the World Heritage System is to be the only thing of value in the world,

By protecting and preserving it as a heritage for humanity as a whole,

Along with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), a common global theme in recent years,

This is an initiative for the next generation.

As a manufacturing industry on an island of World Natural Heritage

We are working on an island that is part of the World Natural Heritage site, where the power of silk, a multifunctional protein produced by nature, can be harnessed.

We value our position as a manufacturer specializing in silk to be utilized for beauty and health,

We will contribute to society through silk, a material that is friendly to both people and the earth.

Specifically.

Activities for the revival of the Japanese silk industry in cooperation with domestic groups and organizations

Cooperation with local students’ research and study on coral conservation

The “Setouchi Town Sea Protection Association” organized by local diving businesses and others, and the “Setouchi Town Sea Protection Association” organized by the Setouchi Town Government and the Setouchi Town Government.
